Review: Onyx 200 Charger

The Onyx 200 (made by DuraTrax) is a great charger for beginners. It is a AC/DC Sport Peak Charger, for 4-7 cell NiCd and NiMH Batteries. It has adjustable charge current, You can change it from 1.5amps, 3amps, and 5amps. It comes stock with a Timiya connector, but you can buy any connector to replace that with. Its has alligator clips so you can connect it to an battery or a power supply. (It has a normal wall plug to) The charger needs 12.0 volts to function so you will need at least a 12.0 volt batteries. To charge a 3000 mah 8.4 volt battery, it takes about 30-45 minutes. Which is a big upgrade from the stock 8 hour Traxxas charger. I bought this charger for 45.00 USD at my local hobby shop.
